Marty's Story

​

After discovering cheerleading in 2006 during high school, my life changed forever. I had finally found a sport that combined everything I loved — gymnastics, dance, tumbling, and performing — all in one. My heart was completely captivated by the passion, dedication, and sense of family within the Allstar cheer community.

​

When I first heard from one of my early coaches about the opportunity to represent Australia at the Cheerleading World Championships in 2010 at Disney World, it felt like a dream too big to reach. My parents came from humble beginnings, but without hesitation they did everything possible to make it happen. They found ways to scrape the money together to fuel my passion and support my love for this sport. Because of them, I was able to live out a dream that shaped my future — and for that, I am forever grateful.

In the spirit of their sacrifice and belief in me, the Passion Performance Athlete Sponsorship Fund was born.

$5.00 from every sale of merch in our soon-to-launch “Passion Apparel Aus” line will go directly into this fund.Each year, one deserving athlete will receive up to $10,000 AUD — fully paid — to attend Worlds or Summit with their team. This sponsorship is designed to remove the financial burden from families and make what may feel impossible, possible.

This initiative is about giving back, lifting up our community, and supporting the next generation of Australian cheer athletes in achieving their dreams.
